If you want to fish bonefishes, then head off to the Los Roques archipelago, 80 miles off the coast of Venezuela. The typical bonefishes that can be found here weigh 4 to 8 pounds. Aside from that, the waters of the archipelago are also abundant with tarpons, barracudas, African pompanos, mackerel, and varieties of snappers.
After making those catches, you may also want to stay in the Posada El Arricefe lodge nearby. They boast their terraces that is surely a good end to a day's fishing.
