history Venezuelan Cacao in the 18th Century

Venezuela, as we all know, is a majorproducer of cacao beans, which are used to make chocolate. They were particularly famous for producing it during the 1700s. How much was its impact? Read this dissertation from the University of Connecticut to find out.
